We’re wrapping up the second annual Monthly Giving Awareness Week, and it’s been a whirlwind of data, insights and inspiring stories to energize the social-good space around recurring giving.
Did you somehow miss this action-packed week? Have no fear. On the monthlygivingweek.com website, we’ve gathered the content that dropped each day of the week, from blogs to webinars, to podcasts to infographics and more. All of it was carefully curated to bring you the inspiration, insights and advice you need to elevate your monthly giving programs to close out 2026.
While much of the content was new this year, we carried over a tradition set on our inaugural Monthly Giving Awareness Week: The Monthlies.
Presented by RKD Group, GivingTuesday and Positive Equation, the Monthlies award program celebrates three organizations that are doing incredible things in their monthly giving programs. We separated the entries into three categories, based on annual operating budget:
- Small organizations (under $1M)
- Mid-size organizations ($1M - $10M)
- Large organizations (over $10M)
The three Monthlies winners will each receive a shoutout in GivingTuesday’s newsletter and get a podcast episode spotlight on Missions to Movements and RKD Group: Chat.
We also have a few other special recognition picks to share:
- Most Creative Campaign
- Strongest Sense of Community
- Greatest Impact
We took a page out of the Oscars’ playbook. During RKD Group’s Monthly Giving Roundtable, two of the 2025 Monthlies award winners announced this year’s winners. You can watch here:
And the 2026 Monthlies winners are ...
Small organization winner: Magical Creatures Sanctuary

Magical Creatures Sanctuary's monthly giving program, "Adopt a Magical Creature," is entirely volunteer-run, built by the same people who feed and care for the animals every day. Here's how they describe the program in their own words:
"Magical Creatures Sanctuary is a 100% volunteer-run farmed animal sanctuary on Hawaiʻi Island, home to 100+ rescued animals. Our monthly giving program invites donors to choose a tier of care — from feeding one animal for a week to covering full care for a special-needs resident — with each level tied directly to real animals and real costs. The program is built around the founding story of Janice, a four-pound orphaned wild goat who became the reason the sanctuary exists, and is sustained by a stewardship model designed to make monthly donors feel like insiders, not transactions."
Mid-size organization winner: Global Girls Glow

Since Global Girls Glow's monthly program launched in October 2025, the organization's number of monthly givers has grown by 500%! Learn about their program, "Girls First Monthly Giving," in their own words:
"The Girls First Monthly Giving Community was launched in October 2025, inviting donors to support Global Girls Glow for only $17 a month. This is what it costs to fund an entire year of the mentorship and advocacy projects available to the girls in our programs. Global Girls Glow operates our signature mentorship program in 30 countries, including the United States, and has served over 100,000 girls since our founding in 2012. The support of our Girls First Monthly Giving Community will be instrumental in sustaining this work for years to come."
Large organization winner: Easterseals

Easterseals' monthly giving efforts have exploded over the years. In fact, the percentage of Easterseals donors giving a recurring gift increased almost 820% from 2021 to 2025! See what they have to say about their program, "All Access":
"Easterseals launched All Access Monthly Giving in 2023 as part of a multichannel fundraising strategy designed to build sustained relationships with donors supporting people with disabilities, older adults, veterans, and families. The program invites donors across direct mail, digital, face‑to‑face, DRTV, email, and SMS channels to provide ongoing support that fuels services spanning a person’s lifetime. All Access integrates seamlessly into the broader Easterseals brand and donor journey, reinforcing trust, purpose, and long-term impact."
Most creative campaign: Letters to a Pre-Scientist

All the Monthlies judges want to be a part of the "Stamp Squad," Letters to a Pre-Scientist's monthly giving program! See what the team has to say about their growing program:
"The Letters to a Pre-Scientist Stamp Squad is a committed group of 500 people across the world working to ensure students have opportunities to discover their STEM potential. Over 90% of Stamp Squad members have also volunteered with us. And, since 80% of members give $11/mo or less, it is a beautiful example of how a community comes together to reach a goal - each individual gives what they can, and together they power the delivery of our snail mail pen pal program. The Stamp Squad launched in 2020 as an urgent effort to survive the pandemic, and has transformed into an engine for growth and sustainability for our organization."
Strongest sense of community: African American Roundtable
African American Roundtable (AART) is doing big things in their community, and a lot of it is driven directly by their monthly members. Learn more about their program in their own words:
"AART's monthly giving program is our membership program because grassroots organizing requires sustained commitment from both organizers and funders. Our monthly donors aren't passive supporters; they're active members in a tiered system where they learn organizing skills, participate in political education, lead campaigns, and build Black political power in Milwaukee. Monthly membership donations help to fund the infrastructure that makes our wins possible: the $600,000 participatory budgeting victory, our Feed the Change MKE food access for all campaign, and our youth leadership development programs training the next generation of Black leaders."
Greatest impact: World Central Kitchen
We were blown away by World Central Kitchen's (WCK) impact and outcomes. On GivingTuesday, World Central Kitchen launched its monthly giving program, Kitchen Corps, and acquired 2,800 new monthly donors. And they're keeping the momentum going with a spring acquisition campaign.
"Kitchen Corps is World Central Kitchen's community of monthly donors that is the steady, reliable force behind WCK's ability to show up within hours of a disaster, anywhere in the world. Launched to transform transactional giving into sustained mission partnership, Kitchen Corps now counts more than 73,000 active members who collectively contribute over $30 million annually. Members join through a multichannel acquisition ecosystem spanning email, paid digital, and website and are stewarded through a dedicated program managed in-house, powered by predictive analytics, personalized engagement touchpoints, and a growing library of exclusive content designed to deepen their connection to WCK's frontline work."
Congratulations to all of the Monthlies winners! Your dedication and creativity to building monthly giving programs that inspire donors and fuel your missions are worth celebrating.
