We all know how stressful this time of year can be. With organizations fundraising most of their annual goals in the last few months of the year, this is the time to shift all initiatives into overdrive. One way to do this is to participate in GivingTuesday.
GivingTuesday began as a single day to encourage people to give, whether that be a donation, their time or their resources, to spread kindness and generosity. This movement continues to grow every year, expanding to not just a single day but to a mindset on what it means to give.
This is great for the movement and means it’s becoming more recognizable to donors. But this also means that there’s a lot more competition for funds.
