Did you hear? RKD Group is welcoming a new member to our family! We are excited to announce the acquisition of Direct Point Group (DPG), a Toronto-based direct-response fundraising agency.
DPG will be rebranded as RKD Direct Point, a division of RKD Group, and this establishes RKD’s presence in Canada. The firm will add new solutions like direct response television (DRTV) and gift catalogs to our growing suite of marketing and fundraising services for nonprofits.
“We are truly excited to welcome the DPG team to RKD Group,” said RKD Group CEO Tim Kersten.
Founded in 2007, DPG has a stellar reputation for providing breakthrough direct response fundraising and marketing services to a wide range of Canadian and U.S.-based nonprofits - Save The Children Canada and Operation Smile Canada, just to name a few.
This merger positions RKD as the premier multichannel marketing and fundraising services provider to Canadian-based nonprofits. RKD Direct Point has expertise in international non-governmental organizations, and health, disease and social service charities in both Canada and the United States. Not to mention they also excel at:
- Direct Mail Acquisition and Cultivation
- Monthly Donor Acquisition and Retention
- Child Sponsorship Acquisition and Retention
- Mid-Level Donor Strategy
- Gift Catalog Development
- Direct Response Television
- C-Suite Strategic Consulting
Duke Smith, who founded DPG with his wife, Katy, will be the Senior Vice President of RKD Direct Point and will join the RKD’s Executive Leadership Team.
“We have a shared vision for the nonprofit sector and a passion to bring innovation to our clients as we continue our work to make the world more humane, just and compassionate,” Smith added.
We are more than thrilled to have RKD Direct Point on our team and look forward to making fundraising breakthroughs across the United States and internationally.
